Originally from Redwood City California, Gatman has been making music and redefining the culture of sound since 2017, when he began working alongside his cousin, JHERTZ, to produce and create a number of iconic mixtapes. Gatman has brought his new wave of underground vapor hip-hop/pop to new heights in the Palouse of Washington State, where he currently studies Music, History, and Criminal Justice, and has spent time working as a recording engineer at the Kimbrough School of Music Recording Studio and as a live sound engineer for Palouse Music. Having struggled throughout his life with OCD, anxiety, Tourettes, and severe depression, Gatman continues his efforts to tackle mental health issues through his music, combining powerful emotion with incredible harmonies. Heavily influenced by the late 6 Dogs, Speaker Knockerz, and Juice WRLD, as well as living artists such as DC FLY, JHERTZ, Kid Sesh and B Cash, Gatman has continued to make waves in the underground music community through his music, shows, artwork, and collaborations. After almost a year away from dropping music, Gatman returns with PIG(MENT) . The past three summers have been as active as ever for Gatman, as he, Bans Only, 81 Drew, DatBoiP, BayCruz, and Katø have been working non-stop on a collaboration mixtape that is set to drop soon.
