Destroy Boys is a raucous, rowdy, relentless force to be reckoned with; the Cali punk band recently released their newest single: Fences. I’ve been a fan of Destroy Boys since seeing them open for SWMRS last February, and I can honestly say Fences is my favorite song by them. Both in their performance and in their recorded music, you can truly feel the energy emanating from this band. While all their music is fantastic, there’s something about Fences that feels a lot different from their other work.

Fences is a lot cleaner sounding than their earlier work, in the sense that it simply sounds like more professional quality. The lyrics dig deep, the cathartic energy is tangible, and the music itself is fantastic. With all of these things in mind, Destroy Boys has definitely released a headbanger here. I can’t wait to see what they do next. Check ‘em out!
